The Kintsugi electric guitar is more than just an instrument—it’s a celebration of resilience and beauty found in imperfection. Its story begins at a garage sale in Southwest France, where a stack of dusty, neglected Redwood offcuts caught my eye.

These pieces, stored for years in an old barn, seemed destined for the scrap heap. But beneath the grime and wear, I saw potential—hidden vibrancy waiting to be brought to life.
After carefully cleaning and polishing the wood, the true character of the Redwood revealed itself. Its grain was wild and unpredictable, with unique patterns shaped by nature’s hand over decades. To honor its flaws and fractures, I chose to join the pieces using gold epoxy resin, inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi.
This philosophy teaches that broken things, when mended with care, become even more beautiful than before. It’s a belief that echoes through every guitar I craft, and one that feels especially meaningful in this build. The golden seams running through the body of Kintsugi transform what might once have been seen as imperfections into stunning features. The result is a guitar that stands as a testament to second chances, sustainability, and the art of seeing beauty in the unexpected. No other guitar in the world shares this exact story or these distinctive features. Kintsugi is truly one of a kind.
